We must be doing something right, Greenland Landscape Co has been in business for almost 7 decades! From a small road side "country" farm stand on Forest Ave in Paramus called the Garden Shop, Mr and Mrs. Weiss began selling landscape plants and perennials to the post war GI's. All throughout the '50's and '60's the retail division grew, adding a landscape design and planting division, and a commercial property maintenance division. In 1970 the name was changed to Greenland Landscape Co. to reflect the large scope of the companies' service. The '70's saw the addition of a Landscape Architecture Division and innovative landscape design. The '80's and '90's added more innovations,and numerous awards in landscape design with new construction techniques. The new century added more awards, and new environmentally conscious designs, roof top rain gardens, water recapture systems, and sustainable planting designs, including sourcing most materials and plants locally. Greenland continues to evolve, innovate, learn, and implement the best landscape practices. We are excited for the future and what Greenland Landscape Co can do for you!

As Landscape Architects and Construction Managers, we provide essential services to the project team, enhancing your ability to quickly close and lease any property in your portfolio, or complete a development project from conception and planning board issues to final approvals. We have also provided horticultural maintenance services since 1950 and are eminently qualified to maintain any commercial or public site.

Landscape Architecture - Creative, economical, low maintenance, sustainable design solutions best suited to a particular project. We are expert in digital arts and can produce full videos, stills, walk-throughs, flyovers and banner presentations.

Wetlands delineation/mitigations and urban brownfields issues are also in our scope of services. Sourcing organic topsoil, wetland specific planting, and naturalized seeding are common projects for us.

Green Roof Design - Rainwater capture & Storage and Roof Gardens are a specialty.

Drawings and Specification Documents- Preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications. Construction supervision and Landscape Project Management.

Landscape Construction- On time, and on budget, implementation of all landscape elements. We are expert in drainage issues, of all types and can construct all aspects of sitework such as curbs, paving, lighting, irrigation, seepage pits, walls etc. We build pools, tennis courts, putting greens and roof gardens.

Landscape Property Maintenance Commercial Division - Annual maintenance of all outdoor elements, sprinkler systems, seasonal outdoor flowers, and holiday displays.
